A lot of people talk about California and associate Hollywood and all of the glamour and glitz that has to do with Beverly Hills. They tend to forget that California is one of the most contrast landscapes in the entire world. They aren’t joking when they say that you can snow board and surf in the same day. I haven’t done that, but I’ve had a snowball fight in the middle of summer on a mountain in Yosemite, and then had a workout on the beach in Santa Barbara a few days apart. California’s big cities are all well known, but the land is what makes this state incredible. The Sierra Nevada Mountains stretch throughout Southern California and there are all types of natural areas and National parks throughout California. These images are from places like Yosemite, Mono Lake, and other various spots I found along the Sierra Nevada Mountain range.
