San Diego is probably my favorite city in the lower forty-eight states in America. It is a highly populated city with a very relaxed beach vibe to it. Most of the people are very friendly, laid back, and enjoy the outdoors. You’ve got great places like the Coronado Hotel that is a cornerstone area that is very popular, but I can’t get enough of places like La Jolla beach where the seals have made their home. The sun sets are gorgeous at La Jolla, and typically always have families out there to enjoy the moment as the waves are slowly crashing into the cliffs. Torrey Pines is a great place to visit if you’re searching for adrenaline and are brave enough to try paragliding. Torrey Pines Gliderport has a great spot off of a cliff over looking the ocean.

If you’re into diving they have huge kelp forests for divers to visit, and while I was there in August I was lucky enough to snorkel with the leopard sharks, which was pretty amazing. They’re very small and generally harmless. If you’re there at the right time, you might catch yourself surrounded by 30 of them at one time.
