Swimming with the leopard sharks is a lot of fun. Right around August at La Jolla shores, you’ll see them within about 30 feet and so on. There are tons of them. They have a very distinctive leopard skin pattern that you can see really well. On a good day at the right time, you’re able to swim around thirty. The most I saw at one time was probably twelve. You don’t need to pay any money or have any type of certification at all. They’re actually on the beaches of La Jolla Shores. You just get right on out there and share the shorelines with these beautiful sharks.
